What does the service do?

This service returns availability display with Flights, their availability, Fare and pricing information, and included ancillary information.

It can be used to query all information pertaining to the desired markets. Additionally, it possible to request for lowest fares for calendar days before and after the searched date.

 What do we not support?

  • Redemption availability is not supported

  • Non-flight (hotel) availability is not supported

  • AirShopping with ancillary.

What are the inputs for this webservice?

  • Origin and Destination details

  • Number of passengers with passenger type

  • Point of Sale

  • Distribution Chain

What are the outputs of this webservice?

  • Airline offers with Offer items which contain price details including  fare , tax and surcharges , flight details with cabin class and flight number

General Usage Guidelines for 21.3 AirShopping Service:

  • iFlyRes supports the following passenger types. Passenger types like ADT-Adult, CHD-Child and INF-Infant are supported. 

  • iFlyRes offers different fare types within requested cabin class. For e.g.:- SUNECO, ITFARE 

  • The price is returned in the currency of the agent’s Point of Sale regardless of point of commencement. For example: If the journey starts from London but the agent’s location is Paris then the price will be returned in EUR 

  • Calendar fare search is supported. Calendar recommendation will be returned only if clients requests for it in IATA_AirShoppingRQ i.e. if IATA_AirShoppingRQ didn’t have Calendar dates requested, the service will not return calendar recommendation
